Calypso Systems’ Integrated Classroom Grant Provides Schools with the Opportunity to Experience the
Calypso School First Foundation now accepting grant applications for 2010
Calypso Systems, a leading developer of multimedia technology solutions for K-12 classrooms, has announced the call for applications for the 2010 Integrated Classroom Grant program.
An element of the Calypso School First Foundation (CSFF), the Integrated Classroom Grant provides teachers and administrators with the opportunity to experience the power and potential of the ezRoom Classroom Bundle, an integrated classroom technology solution.
“Calypso’s grant program allowed us to test and evaluate how the ezRoom system performed within our classroom,” stated Damon Lueck, technology coordinator, Chatfield Public Schools in Chatfield, Minn. “The reviews from our faculty were overwhelmingly positive and gave us the confidence to proceed with a school-wide roll-out of the ezRoom system.”
Since its 2008 launch, the Calypso Systems Integrated Classroom Grant has connected teachers and students with the resources necessary to support curriculum and has provided administrators and faculty with the tools necessary to achieve the “21st Century Classroom.”
“The Integrated Classroom Grant provides a significant opportunity for schools to integrate technology into all aspects of the curriculum and alleviate administrator’s hesitation to take on the risk of full deployment as they test and experiment with the technology first,” said David H. Parish, Ph.D., president of Calypso Systems. “In this competitive market, current and future customers look to us for solid control and support with multimedia technology solutions for K-12 classrooms. The Integrated Classroom Grant provides expanded capabilities by providing schools value-added services to support 21st Century Classrooms.”
Schools selected for the program can become eligible to receive up to $1,200 toward the purchase and installation of Calypso’s ezRoom Classroom Bundle, a complete pre-assembled audio-visual (A/V) solution.
The ezRoom Classroom Bundle brings together state-of-the-art control, interface, audio and connectivity products quickly, reliably and cost effectively. With the addition of a projector, screen and A/V source devices, the ezRoom provides administrators and faculty with the tools necessary to improve student performance through the use of classroom technology.
