Calypso Control Systems Hires Director of Marketing
Calypso Control Systems, manufacturer of a full range of open architecture control, user interface, audio, microphone and connectivity products designed to create integrated K-12 classroom solutions, today announced the appointment of Brad Stageberg as Director of Marketing.
With the recent successful launch of Calypso Control Systems’ ezRoom solution, Stageberg joins Calypso Control Systems at a pivotal time of growth. In his role, Stageberg oversees all marketing and communications efforts and will lead the organization in developing its brand identity. Additionally, Stageberg will work with the sales force to align brand messaging with customer relations.
“Brad’s diverse background as an independent consultant and in an agency serving both B2B and consumer clients gives him exceptional points of reference as he leads Calypso in strengthening our brand,” said David H. Parish, Ph.D., president of Calypso Control Systems. “Brad’s understanding of the importance of building sustaining customer relationships will be instrumental as Calypso Control Systems helps school districts realize the power and potential of the 21st Century classroom.”
Prior to joining Calypso, Stageberg was an independent business and marketing consultant, providing strategic counseling to small and medium sized companies on new product launches, market development and brand building. As account supervisor at Minneapolis, Minn.-based advertising agency Fallon, Stageberg oversaw integrated marketing campaigns involving research, strategy and creative development.
“It’s one thing for classrooms to have technology tools, but they won’t do much good if they’re not connected and easy to use,” said Stageberg. “We are committed to helping educators concentrate on the learning environment, not the technical issues. I look forward to helping Calypso articulate our commitment.”
Earlier in his career, Stageberg held account management and marketing positions at Leagas Delaney, Inc. in San Francisco and Best Buy Company, Inc.
A resident of Minnetonka, Minn., Stageberg holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. For more information about Calypso Control Systems products and services please visit http://www.calypsocontrol.com or call (651) 209-3741.
