Bright Idea: Power Down

The new Smart Block AV from Calypso Systems addresses a classroom’s need to reduce energy costs by managing the power used by low-voltage devices. Designed to work with Calypso’s CB-5000 and CB-1000 wall-mount controllers, the Smart Block forwards commands at preset times for complete power shutdown, cutting the energy wasted by devices that are plugged in, but not turned on.
