• Be Heard|School Grant

  The Calypso School First Foundation is proud to continue its commitment to using technology to transform teaching and learning for all students by announcing the 2010 Be Heard School Grant.

  The Be Heard School Grant recognizes the importance of hearing and being heard in the classroom.  Voice amplification is an effective, affordable, and measurable tool for improving teaching and learning for all students in all subjects.  Research has also shown that classroom voice amplification can dramatically reduce special education referrals (up to 40%).

  The Be Heard School Grant will provide a complete, fully installed, classroom voice amplification system in up to 35 classrooms. Three grant recipients will be chosen from across the United States.

• Integrated Classroom School Grant Program

  The Calypso Systems ICGP is designed to provide counties, districts and municipalities with the opportunity to receive equipment grants intended to facilitate the evaluation of various classroom multimedia, user interface, and control and technology management products. The program is directed specifically towards entities involved with either (a) the design of new school buildings or (b) substantial upgrades to existing school buildings.
